Hello, I had a request that was somehow accepted by the system. I did not accept it. Then I had to cancel it. How do I go about finding out if I was penalized and how I can get the penalty cancelled?
Sounds like you have Instant Book turned on. You should probably turn that off before it happens again.
No, I didn't have instant booked turned on. It was accepted by the system aftern the initial request. How do I find out if there is a penality?
You contact Airbnb. We, as other hosts, won't be able to tell you that.
Just looked, you have Instant Book on.
Here is a screen shot of one of your listings. As you can see Instant Book (the gold lightening bolt) is on.
Do you need to know how to turn it off, @Pauline39? In Your Listing, go to Calendar and More and then Booking in the menu at the left. Under "Who can book instantly" check "No one."
