Hi, I have been searching everywhere and cannot find an answer. My group stayed at an Airbnb recently and I was added onto the trip reservation as a guest. However, after check out, I am unable to leave a review for the host. Is the host review process only open for the reserver of the Airbnb or should all guests be able to leave a review?

@Cynthia562 Only the person who did the booking can review the host and listing.

It will not Let me leave a review as a host now. For some reason it is saying “ you do not have access to this”. I have been leaving guest reviews for a long Time as a host but for some reason it will not let me now. Even Airbnb support couldn’t figure it out. Any advice would be so nice
thanks

Airbnb have confirmed to me today that they have a Global Issue with the Airbnb platform.
This affects both host ability to review guests and vice versa.
This has happened due a Security Compromise on the Airbnb platform. It affects all operating systems such as Windows, IOS.
This has led to some hosts losing the functionality from their dashboards and not receiving follow up notifications after guest departure of being asked to review guests.
Unfortunately all that Airbnb Support can do is acknowledge the issue and escalate to the global team who are trying to resolve .
It is a shame that Airbnb can not be honest about this and inform all hosts globally and detail times for resolution.
I only hope that the resolution to this issue comes shortly as I am embarrassed to contact my guests and apologise to them on behalf of Airbnb and inform them neither the host or guest can leave reviews.
I really think Airbnb should be apologising for this systems failure and security breach. There is an old adage when dealing with complaints namely Regret, Reason and Remedy. A starting point would be Regret.
