Changing Details

Hi I am trying to change contact details...I am no longer looking after the cottage which I placed on Airbnb so I need to change the details to the new person.  I logged in using my FB account and now....It's my facebook account (can't login with google) and I can't change the email address either.  Please help!!

@Michaela8  Are going to be involved at all or are you wanting to close your account?  If you are still involved, then you could add a co-host for the day to day management.  See Help Center for articles about co-hosts and how to add.  If you are getting out of the hosting all together, you need to deactivate the listing and another person would have to start a new listing.

i have the same issue another person is taking over completely but if i close my account and she opens anew one what happens with my bookings for next year???

If you look at the Airbnb Help Centre, they provide guidance on this.

If you are no longer hosting put your listing on snooze now, so you aren't taking any further bookings. You will then need to contact Airbnb you can ask their advice. My understanding is they can offer your guests to cancel their booking and find somewhere else or transfer to the new host under their new listing but I am not sure so get in contact with them ASAP to minimise any disruption to your quests.

If the person taking over you accommodation wants to host they can set up their own listing.
