Charged but no booking

i have sent a request to book a place in fiji and the money got debited from my account. but no confirmation has been sent to my account regarding the same. is it normal with airbnb? i have no proof to produce other than the transaction message received from my bank. No acknowledgement from Airbnb. please help

you should get confirmation mail to your email address and you should see your trips on this link: https://www.airbnb.com/trips
