Check In fees

Hello,

I have already paid for all of my reservation, including fees and everything.  Looking at the check in itinerary, it says that I will be charged a $40 check in fee at my arrival when I see the doorman in the building, just for arriving.  Is this normal? I thought that by paying all the fees with the Air Bnb that there wouldn't be any last minute fees?

The check-in fee must be mentioned in the listing and/or appear in the booking form.

If it is on your itinerary, it was probably also in the listing. Maybe you overlooked it.

BTW Just wondering where the fee is used for....

Thanks for the feedback! Well it is listed under the step-by-step when I click on the checking in itinerary, but it is not part of the overall fees.  It says that this fee goes directly to the building...

@Juliana247  Was it in the listing description, things to acknowledge on your reservation or in the rules per your itinerary? You only get check in information after booking. If the fee was not made known prior to booking you have the right to decline payment and she must accept it.
