I am super-host to the Cozy Stone House Detroit (Ferndale).  I also own DETROIT HAVEN real estate + design. I recently started co-hosting a friend's Mom's house in Royal Oak.  I'm open to managing a select group of Airbnb's in Detroit and the surrounding area, so please let me know if anyone needs someone to manage their property! I am in Oxford, the person who was my cohost for three minutes last October is in Prague and does not reply to my email. We did not like the arrangement so we tried to cancel her cohosting and believed that she was out. But it looks like She is still a cohost, money are pending in her account , but she did not give any account number  so she actually does not have the money! The money is thus withheld by Airbnb. I can not believe that there is no way I can see on the system whether she is still a co host and for how long she was a cohost and I have no power to influence this arrangement. This is so wrong. She decided not to do the cohosting as the Airbnb system was not transparent enough and it took us several hours to find how to do the co hosting therefore we cancelled everything g, or at least we believed that we cancelled everything . Yeh system is so wrong. I can not go to Prague and speak to her, she has two small children and lots of worries...

the customer suport is absupolutely useless. First they told me that no worries, all is right. Then they told me that she I s no longer my cohost but they can not tell me since when.....

I have spent hours sending screenprints and they keep saying that for security reasons it is her who needs to cance. She probably already deleted her Airbnb account as she was fed up.....This is really beyond belief. My advice is : do not ever enter into cohosting arrangement as yiu lose control.

Hi to everyone: Today Airbnb sent me an email saying the following: As of August 1, 2018, hosts will no longer be able to share payments with co-hosts through the Airbnb platform. All earnings including cleaning fees will go to the host, who you’ll work with directly to arrange payment for your co-hosting services. Please I would like to know the opinion as many people as possible. Thank you

Thank you Lisa
