Completing a partial payment

I had submitted a partial payment for a reservation until I heard from the host.  I scheduled the 2nd half of my payment for summer.  Once I talked to the host, I decided I would like to complete the payment early, but CANNOT figure out how.  Even if I go to "send" money, none of the drop downs allow for me to complete my payment before August.  No matter what I push, it states "Validation failed: This reservation is not fully paid".  Well DUH!  I'm TRYING to pay it!

Anyone know a work around, so I can bypass a scheduled "final payment" date, or back the date up to tomorrow?

There was another guest posting in the forum trying to do the same, @Charlotte244, and it is not possible in this way. You might need to contact Airbnb Customer Service. In that case I mentioned the guest didn't get the link to pay the second instalment at all. Or, check if that button appears if you start changing your reservation - just a guess.
