Concerned that my booking maybe fake!

Hi All, 

my friend made a booking last year for a cottage in the Cotswolds to host our other friends hen do and we are concerned that the cottage and host may not be legit.

When we click on the link to the property on air bnb it states the property no longer exists. I have searched the address of the property and we can’t find any info on it, however we have found information that the host has had two dissolved companies against the property and also companies chasing outstanding debts.

We are now panicking that the booking is fraudulent. Does anyone know how to check it’s real and what our options are?

Hi there if the listing on Airbnb is removed then you should contact airbnb support to get a full refund and consider other options

I would also let them know upon your search you found these information for the host and overall feel uncomfortable with going ahead with this booking so hopefully you can look into other options that suit you better :)!
