DIfferent pricing in different browsers?!

I'm a regular Airbnb hoster and traveller, and I've just looked at making a new booking.  After putting in my dates, I've found that the price is different in different browsers.  More specifically, the pricing is HIGHER when I'm logged into my Airbnb account than when I use a different browser or Incognito in Chrome (it affects the nightly rate, the service fees, and the cleaning fees).

Try an example yourself:  https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15237769?location=toronto%2C%20ON&check_in=2017-05-26&check_out=2017-05....

Try on a Mac in Chrome LOGGED IN, and compare the total price to Safari or Incognito.

Is Airbnb CHEATING??!!

@Rael0  I'm seeing the same price whether in Safari, Chrome or whether or not I am logged in.  $714 USD for 1 guest May 26 to May 29.

It is possible that Airbnb calculates a currency conversion fee from AUD to CAD which only happens when you are logged in.

Hope this helps!

I have the same issue and just called their customer service. I got 35Euro on an Android Tablet from 2012, 49 on Chrome on Linux and 57 a night on iOS 11 with a 2017 iPad Pro. It's interesting to see the correlation between the likely price of my device / my financial capability and the pricing of my offers.

Anyways the recommendation of the customer service was "please always use chrome to make sure that doesn't happen. The other Browsers are somewhat buggy". Why the iOS app reports higher prices wasn't answered.

To me that is a clear pricing discrimination and will keep me from booking with AirBnB in the future. And if at all, best to use a Windows XP machine with IE 9, so that they at least think you don't want to throw money out of your window.
