There's no way to delete a payout preference and return to a single payout option. Is there a trick?
Hello @Jill196,
There is a way to delete a payout preference and return to a single payout option. I've done it.
If you currently have more than one payout method registered then you'll have to set the one you want to keep as the default method, if it's not that already, and then delete the other one.
To set the method you want to keep as the default one, click on the "Options" drop down box for the method and then select the option to make it the default one.
Then click on the "Options" drop down box for the method you wish to remove and select the option to remove the method.
Steve.
Thanks for that Steve,
That's what i did, and the preferred bank acct is marked as default, but the payout split below this window remains as 50%. It won't change.
I also don't seem to be able to delete the other 2nd payout option. Although it gives me the option to delete it, it remains there.
And there's no way i can contact Airbnb.
Cheers
Jill
hey Steve, i just did it!
I had two Airbnbs with diff payout routing rules - 50-50 for one, and 100% for the other. I had to delete both from the box, then it allowed me to delete the 2nd payout option in the top box. But quite a strange and clunky method.
Thanks for your help and many happy guests ... 🙂
Jill
Hello @Jill196,
Glad you got it done.
I hadn't thought about what happens with shared payouts. Learned something new today 🙂
Happy hosting.
Steve.
