I have been trying to enter my checks routing number to establish a direct payment system.
AirBnB keeps telling me it's a wire transfer number
I went to my bank, Chase Bank, and they told me my routing number is good for all manner of payment.
What do i do now???

@Alexander44 Double check that your are entering the correct routing number. Take a look at this website to find your routing number on your check itself. I have direct deposit with no problem at all.

If you have entered it correctly, then contact Airbnb again. Whoever you talked to didn't understand or was misinformed.
Hope this helps!
How will I know when the direct deposit set up has gone through?
Hi @Jackie102 When you set up a new payout account, Airbnb will first verify it before sending any payouts. This is done by first sending a small deposit, usually a penny, to be sure it is processed correctly. Once this verification process has been completed, the status of your payout account will show as "Ready" meaning that it is ready to receive payouts.
You can check the status of any payouts here:
