Does listing lose SuperHost status if change Primary Host?

I am hoping someone can provide some insights. We want to change the primary host on our listing, but I am not sure if the listing would lose the SuperHost status because of this. I understand that all reviews and SuperHost credit goes to the listing admin: https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Help/How-can-I-change-from-Primary-Host-to-Listing-Admin/td-p/33.... I more want to confirm that our listing would keep the SuperHost status, even though the primary host is not the listing admin and does not have SuperHost status.

All listings have a Host, some also have a co host.

The Host is the one who may or may not have Superhost status and whose Superhost status would show up on a listing.

Not sure what you mean about primary and admin, not AirBnB terms.

Just so as I'm clear. Kakha is the admin and either you or Svetlana is currently the primary host. Is that true?

If it is true then Kakha can change who the primary host is and his superhost status will not be affected just because of the change.

Superhost status attaches to the profile of the admin, not to the listings.

The superhost status of the admin can, of course, be impacted over time if the primary host or co host fails to maintain good standards.

@Steve143 Kakha is currently the primary host and the listed admin. I understand that we can switch the primary host and Kakha will maintain his SuperHost status. But if we put Svetlana as the primary host (who does not have SuperHost status), will our listing still show SuperHost status because of the listed admin? Or will it no longer show SuperHost status because of the primary host?

I understand that SuperHost status helps with a listing's search and bookings, but I also understand the primary host cannot get SuperHost status if they are not the listed admin.

@Nichole25 Superhost status does *not* help with a listing's search ranking.

It may help with your bookings (because people should be more willing to book with a Superhost), but it does not help with a listing's search ranking.

But doing the things required to become a superhost should mean your listing ranks highly.

Although we don’t give an explicit boost to Superhosts in search, the factors required to become a Superhost do help your listing rank higher. Moreover, we give guests the option to filter their search results to only display Superhosts and occasionally showcase Superhosts on the results page.

OK, now I understand more. Kakha is the admin and primary host.

From the screenshot below, taken from Dave & Deb's post below, it would seem that the primary host, if separate friom the admin, will appear on the listing page.

If that's the case, and Svetlana is set as the primary host, then the listing won't show as being hosted by a super host.

You can always try the change temporarily and check the listing page by finding the listing in search having cleared your browser cache. Clear the cache just to make sure that your browser doesn't unhelpfully show the old version of the listing page. You can always revert to Kakha being the primary host if the listing shows with the superhost badge.
