Double booking

Hi, I'm very new at this, in fact it's my 1st time renting the entire house; sugestions welcome.

I thought once a reservation has been confirmed & dates blocked no others would be accepted. Not the case, I have a family staying for 10 days & now have someone from Quebec with a confirmed reservation for the same weekend. 

Should I contact Mr. Quebec, apologize & ask him to cancel?

No = contact AirBnB and get them to sort it out. Seems weird that it would allow two people to book the same dates.

it sounds strange to happen... but you should first contact Airbnb and ask more info
