Hello everyone,
I have a problem with address at one of my listings, that I could not solve.
When I put all the listings in my profile I accidentally put wrong address to one of them, but now, when I want to change it, I can´t, because it is saying: Listings can´t move location. Create a new listing for a different address.
Obviously I already got some reviews at this old one and I dont want to delete it, so do you know some other help, how to make it right?
Thanks a lot 🙂
Hi
I've got a similar issue. The street name and number of the appartment is changed. So I have to explain it in emails to my guests every time I send them instructions how to get to a place. I do not know how to change the address either 🙂

I have the same problem. My address is changed but I do not want to start a new listing. People call on my neighbour all of the time nd this is annoying for her and for me. Why can't we edit the address?
I'd like to do the same, but I can't see anywhere where I can ask Airbnb to let me do it or ask them to do it. Anyone had any luck in getting the question answered?
I encountered this problem, and i believe no body find the satisfactary answer. i am frastracted why Airbnb has not support centre or any contact information that we could directly find the answer.
Hi everyone,
I am afraid I have the same problem: I accidentally put the wrong street number, and now that I have realised I cannot seem to be able to change. I do not want to make a new listing just for a wrong number. What could we do? I do hope we get some help and can find a solution !!! This is incredible!!!???
Hi @Margret4, @Antonio199, @Harry31, @Lisa269, @Neil-and-Hilary0 and @Elisavet0,
My name is Kirstie and I'm the online community coordinator here in the Community Centre. It's great to see you all here!
As I can see you all have the same question about editing your address and haven't yet received a response here, I just wanted to share a link to this Airbnb help guide which explains how you can edit your address.
I hope you find it useful!
Kirstie
Hello Kirstie
I have now tried many times to edit my address. I simply want to change 38 to 38B. It is not possible to do so on the site. Clearly I am not the only one who wants to edit the address - it is easy to make errors and besides things can change in streets. It appears on the site that the edit address option is available but it is not. We are informed that we need to creat a new listing. If we do this we will lose all of our recommendations and comments, which is clearly no-ones intention.
Please have a look at this and do not assume that the site works perfectly. In most respects it does, but not in this one.
Best regards
Neil
Thanks for letting me know - do you mean that when you follow the instructions in the help guide I posted above and go on 'manage listings and calendar' and click on 'Location' there is no option saying 'edit address'?
If this is the case there may be an issue with the website that I can follow up.
Thanks
Kirstie
Hi Kirstie
No, the problem is that the "edit address"option comes up, but it will not allow the editing to take place.
When I try to edit the address changing no 38 to no 38B, a pop up appears saying "Listings can't move location. Make a new listing"
I hope you can see the problem here.... I just want to add B to my 38 number. At the moment all of my visitors call on the neighbour (at 38) first of all. I am now sending an email with the correction, but not everyone seems to understand this.
Please get the website people to look at this as clearly it was their intention to allow editing, but it just doesn't work.
Best regards
Neil
Thanks for letting me know - I will try and find out why this might be the case.
I suggest in the meantime that you contact the airbnb support team directly as they should be able to change it for you. This Community Help Guide explains the best ways to contact them.
I hope you can get it sorted soon!
Kirstie
That all sounds very complicated Kirstie. I think the simplest thing is for you to contact the website people and explain the problem that so many of us appear to have. I am sure they can fix it simply. It would be nice to have a simple means of communication on technical matters but in the absence of that I will remain in your hands. Perhaps you can let me kbow when something gets sorted.
Best regards
Neil
I understand that it can sometimes be difficult to get hold of the support team - I suggest you try using Twitter, as this is the best way of contacting them for this sort of matter. Follow the instructions below (taken from the Community Help Guide I posted the link of above) and you should be able to get your address edited.
Step 1: Log into Twitter
Step 2: Search for @Airbnbhelp and choose "Follow" them
Step 3: Send a Direct Message (DM) explaining your issue and wait for their response. They may ask for information such as your listing but always provide it over DM so it is not public.
I did check and sometimes the reason you can't edit it yourself is because you have already edited a couple of times or you have had your first reservation made - in these cases you need to get airbnb to edit it for you.
I hope you manage to get it changed!
Kirstie
Helo Kirstie
First of all, thank you for your reply. I do not use Twitter however so that route is not available to me. The suggestions that you have made do not seem to apply to me as far as I can see. I guess that if I cannot get help then I shall just have to put up with the problem until someday enough people complain and the bug gets fixed. Not altogether a client oriented response, I fear. I really think, given that I am not the only one with this problem, that you might, in your role, be prepared to contact support on our behalf and advise them of the problem. I find it strange that you won't. I know I am not a big customer of Airbnb but our business is growing each month so it seems reasonable that Airbnb respond to these problems.
I leave the ball in your court and hope you can find it possible to contact support and email them on our behalf.
Best regards

I have the same problem with my listing as the address is incorrect but I am unable to edit it.
I do not have Twitter, so can you please advise how I can contact AirB&B support and ask them to correct the address on my listing.
Thanks
