@Peter594 You can advertise your space anywhere you want. What is not allowed is advertising your listing on Facebook (all social medias) and taking "outside" bookings from social media by blocking your calendar for them. Big No No.. The best thing to do which is what I do, is provide my ABB listing link on Facebook and reminding everyone who reaches out to me that they are to contact me by clicking on the link and writing to me from their ABB account only. Violations are why hosts are removed from ABB real quick.
I also provide them $40 of Superhost Promo code to their email if they are first timers to ABB. People love that.
SIDE NOTE: Had a potential guests write me on Facebook asking me if I would take their booking, block my calendar and have them pay cash instead of paying through ABB? My answer was this: "If you are requesting that I violate the terms of ABB hosting by having you stay in my home just to save you money by not paying ABB service fees, then that's an indicator (red flag) you will violate my House Rules. No Thanks.
Perhaps I didn't answer your check in question, forgive me, but I was just trying to help in some way. Maybe I did. haha
If you feel that me or another host have helped you, feel free to click on the "thumbs up" button at the end of any post. Thank you so much.
Aloha, Momi
