Hi Graham, Think a lot of people are burying their heads in the sand whilst keeping their fingers in their ears over Airbnb and fire regulations. You have obviously done the correct thing in adopting a Fire Risk Assessment and using an agency to help.
You ask has anyone had problems regarding UK fire regulations........Like with all things until something goes wrong people won't have a problem and things will probably remain the same. Ultimately I think Airbnb should request copies of people's fire risk assessments and require hosts to sign off on their responsibilities. They should also give more advice than they do currently. We have followed the 'Paying Guests' government guidelines and have found that to be useful.
I would say by the lack of response to your post I'm pretty sure my head in the sand assumption is not wrong.
