Flexible Cancellation Policy

I have called AirBnB 2 times trying to get an answer to my question but have not been successful.

I have read the flexible cancellation and understand that a guest pays an extra 7% which allows them to cancel and receive a full refund

My question has been, how does that affect the host?  Do we retain all of our revenue according to my strict cancellation policy or do we lose our revenue?   

It certainly would be next to impossible to re-rent our home in 24 hours.

Please respond as I am wavering as to whether to keep the flexible cancellation checked or uncheck.
