This was my first time booking through AirBnB, and right after I got confirmation of my reservation request from the host, I invited my partner, who would be staying with me. All good so far. When I go back to see the Guests list, I see a 3rd person "invited" (which I certainly didn't), whose name was Francisco ** (no idea of who this person might be), and a weird email address with [email address removed]. It looked as accepted already!
I immediately eliminated such "invite" and I forgot to take a screenshot first. But I´m rather concerned of why this happened. I spoke with the host and she´s never experienced this before, so I´m wondering if anybody has every seen a similar thing?

That sounds really strange. I think in your position I would call BNB and explain what has happened and ask for their advice. If you don't have their contact number have a look at the top post under Community Help for contact details.

This happened to me too - a mysterious person appeared on my guest list as "confirmed" even though they weren't invited. I noticed it on December 27, 2016, but I don't know how long this mysterious guest was on the reservation.I reported to Airbnb but I haven't heard back. It's been 2 days.
