Getting email notifications when guests try to make contact/request a booking
Hi, I'd really like contact from potential hirers to arrive by email - I've already followed helpful advice to do with email settings, checked spam folders, all the usual, but each time I test both contact and booking request links on my listing, and expect an email, nothing! How do I set email to be the default contact method?
Try this - go to your account settings and untick everything except: Email Settings: I want to receive emails about reservations, etc
Then get someone to send you a test message - not a booking request - and see if you receive the message. Make these changes on a pc or lap top, not on your phone.
