Guest surname / last name

So all the last names for my future guest disappeared???

is this new, as I could see them last week? Even on confirmed bookings? 

I will star asking copies of their passports or leave Airbnb - I rent a room in my house, not worth the risk!

i understand not sharing before the booking, and not sharing the picture before booking confirmation, but this is one step too far!

Their names and photos on Airbnb profiles means absolutly nothing. They can register with email and phone number and change names and photo anytime!

Yes, every host should ask for ID at arrival, we do, it's mandatory here and in many EU countries. You just have to write this in your house rules.
