Actually, no. Airbnb only provides the guest's full name if the guest enters it when developing a profile. Even with "verified" profiles, people can easily use initials or false names when making a reservation.
I have had several requests this summer from guests using first name or initials ("A. Smith", "J.D.", "Billy B.") or people from other countries using their last name and an americanized pseudonym for their first name ("Bill" Wong instead of Bikram Wong). And it is not corrected when I accept the reservation.
I am very concerned that Airbnb no longer thinks I need the REAL NAME of a guest staying in my home. Yet of course I must have the REAL LEGAL NAME if there are any problems and I need to, for example, make a police report and/or a damage claim.
