Hi guys,
My account has been hacked and the hacker changed my description.
He put his own email address: [email address removed] and asked my guest to contact him via email and then gave my guest wrong information about my place.
Due to this problem, my guest requiere an immediate full refund when she arrive at my place. She was very angry.
She didn't want to leave my place unless she has a ferm confirmation of the refund,
I am now out of my pocket for around $2,000 due to the lack of security in the Airbnb system.
How can I address this issue ?
And to whom I should speak to?

I am so sorry to hear about your experience. Someone hacked my account as well and made a listing
I had no idea about so I am also worried about the security of my page and further reservations.
In your place, I would enter your profile and try to find Login Notifications. There you can see who approached your profile
and which IP adress did they use. You can log them out and change your password but also find them over Ip locator.
If you have any suggestions to me, how can I make the account more secure, please write.

It's so disturbing Airbnb can easily take down a fake email and phone they even notified me that I changed mine whichnof course I did not they don't seem to care that I cannot be reached by guestsvtrying to book me prior to the hack
