Has anyone Blocked dates and still had a guest be able to book on the calendar?

I blocked dates and a renter was still able to book their trip. I had to email them that this was not available and to please cancel so that they would get their refund. I don't want to be 'dinged' because I have to cancel reservations..

Anyone else???

We have had this happen. I found the support staff at AirBnB very helpful, taking responsibility for advising and cancelling the second guest. Also, I was advised the situation would be sent to IT for investigation. All in all a very satisfactory outcome after the initial panic of thinking it my error somehow and of all the possible negative consequences!

@Keely-And-Petr0   Yes, we actually had it happen more than once.  Most recently, Christmas.  We had a guesthouse full of family and I received an IB for the next day, which was Christmas Day!   Every time I contacted Airbnb about it, they feigned ignorance, claiming this is impossible, I probably did not block my calendar, blablabla.....  Multi-Billion dollar company that cannot get their software right is more like it!
