Having trouble preapproving a guest

I am trying to approve a booking but am unable to, this message pops up (Unfortunately, you cannot pre-approve this guest because your calendar is not available for the specified date range.) although I have edited my profile to accept more guests as I have another spare room so why cant I accept a new booking?

You need to create a separate listing for the second room.

I am trying to pre-approve a guest request and I get this message: 

Something went wrong:

Unfortunately, a server error prevented your request from being completed. Airbnb may be undergoing maintenance or your connection may have timed out. Please try again.  I tried again and again but, I still get the same message?  What do I do?
