Help with messages.

Hi Folks, i am new and not good with computers. Simply, how will i know when a perspective guest leaves a message.  Will i get an e-mail or do i have to constantly go into the airbnb site to check if i have any messages?

I have worked out that, possibly, the initial enquiry arrives via e-mail. After that, I'm not sure.

@Alyson11 there are many ways to get a notification from a guest. 

If you are on a laptop, go to your Account where you can select the type of notifications: 

- Email

- Push Notifications to your mobile device

- Text messages

I use all three which may be redundant, but I especially like to get an alert on my phone. 

If you are using Airbnb's app, tap on the profile icon then the Settings tab.  You will see the options for email, text and push notifications.
