When does the person pay?  They booked and I confirmed.  This is my first visitor.

Hi Holly - you receive payment into your account from Airbnb 24 hours after the guests arrival date.

As @Emma239 has said, it can take up to 24 hours before you receive your pay out, however, if you're a new host, Airbnb may hold your payouts for 30 days after your first reservation is confirmed. If your first reservation is more than 30 days away, your payout will be released 24 hours after your guest's scheduled check-in. This will apply to any payouts scheduled to be released during those 30 days. I was able to find this information in the Help Centre under 'When do I get paid'.

Thanks so much.  So far I am very excited.  I am only doing this part time, but I am most excited as it's fun.  Need insurance, though.

Yes, thank you.  Done.  And getting it down.  My next concern and thing to work on is insurance.  This is a big issue.  My first guest was great.  Two more on the way in a few weeks and looking forward to it, but do not have insurance so this concerns me.
