Host listings

Hi, the host of the apartment I'm booking in Osaka has 3 listings with the same photos but different locations. Is this possible? Is it safe to book with him?

I would be wary.  Do any of the pictures instruct you to email or call the person before booking?  If so, it is probably a scam.  If you post a link to the listing, we can give you more input.

If it is a new host, they may have made a mistake, started a new profile, made a mistake, started another one... Just ask the host before making any booking. If it is a litany of mistakes, they need to be shown how to delete the wrong ones! I know a very legit host on the forum who originally posted a duplicate listing because of not working it out. It has been deleted now however. Having said that, I would be cautious.

Sounds strange - unless they are 3 new apartments in the same building? Some hosts are a bit lazy re photos but I would not feel comfortable in this situation
