Hosting Chinese guests in the UK

Hi, I’m in my first year of hosting in the UK and it’s been going really well. I’ve just received my first booking from a Chinese national and I have to reach out for some help here as he doesn’t show as a verified guest but his booking has been accepted as if he is. Also his name on his profile is clearly not his actual name and he has only just joined Airbnb so has no previous verification or reviews. How has he bypassed the verification process? Do I have to tell him to complete it? And how do I do this? Hope someone can help me!

@Nina559 it happened sometime with Chinese guest, they get verified with email/phone or sometimes email only, it is because the payment card system they used is already verified which able them to book without the usual ABB ID verification, but when  guests do not have a review I ask them to upload their ID and they always do it straight away.

Never be afraid to ask them to upload further verification if that can make feel safer
