How do I get my refund back?

I changed/altered my reservation from 2 nights to 1 night. Airbnb says that it was refunded on the day I changed it but it does not reflect on my back account. Can someone help me? Should I request money from my host? I hope someone can tell me what to do 😞 How can I verify this with airbnb? Thanks!
