How do I give special pricing deal to friends

If I have a friend of a friend that I want to give a deal to what is the best way to do that?  Can I adjust the price down to what I want afer they make a booking at regular price or ?

Yes, you can use the 'Special Offer' feature for that. 

It's easiest if they just put in an inquiry so they're in the system, and then you click the 'Special Offer' button, setting any price you like.

As an aside, as they're already your friends and you know them not through AirBnB, you could also just block the dates in your calendar and let them pay you whatever is reasonable.
