How often will my synced calendar update on Airbnb?

I synced my website calendar to allow for instant bookings. When I made a test reservation through my website it hadn't updated on Airbnb when I checked it 19 minutes later. It didn't refresh through Airbnb until I did a manual refresh for my synced calendar. Does anyone know of a way to change the minutes of refreshing the sync to avoid double bookings?

my calendar is synched with booking and it was working fine until today, when i received a booking on dates that should have been blocked. e

What can I do now?

If I cancel the booking I will be given penalties but it's no right since the calendar should have been synched with booking.

As far as I know there is  no certain way to use syncing to avoid double booking, you need to cancel.

You can sync your listings calendars (import/export each calendar to each listing needs to be setup) but I also find it doesn't sync up to 20 mins after. Manually click the 'sync' after a booking is annoying but the fastest way I know. 

Airbnb any update on how often you will auto sync calendars?

It looks it doesn't sync automatically...so, manual sync seems to be the only option.

one more thing...can'f find sync button in mobile ios app...anybody?

Manual sync is not the only option. You can find someone to make a computer program that will "click" on the sync button. No need for the api. I did it for a friend. Drawback of this approach is you need a computer running 24/7 and stable internet connection.

Mine was syncing almost daily, lately it's not syncing at all! I had to cancel a booking because it wasn't syncing then got hit with a $100 fee for canceling!

The best solution to this is to use a reliable channel manager that will sync your availability between channels almost instantly.  There are a lot out there and I've tried most of them.  They are all good but I really like and use hosttools.com**.

This simple fix to make imported calendars auto-sync (a few times daily) would only take your developers a few minutes to do... annoying its gone on this long 😞
