I want to leave a public response to a review I received today. I went to the Reviews link under the Host tab, found the review and clicked on "Leave a Public Response". I typed my response in the text box and hit submit. I do not see my response anywhere. Does anyone know if public responses are immediately posted or do they go through some sort of review period and are posted at a later time? I do not want to re-type my response, click submit and have it show up twice if it is just a delayed posting type of thing.

Thank you for your feedback and advice! It definitely makes me feel better. I have waited a day to to see if AirBNB would help me to resolve a related issue before writing a reponse but so far no help on their end which has been surprising. I did not want an unaccurate review to sit on our listing's page without a rebutal for much longer for potential guests to read. I was not quite sure how it would be preceived. I was using a regular computer so I think I will try posting again. Thanks!
That's odd as I believe all my responses have appeared instantly. You might send a help query to investigate...

Thanks for your response. I tried posting my response again and it worked. It showed up immediately!
maybe try again on a regular computer? I found that my tablet behaves differently than my computer when I want to post something. Your listing looks great, at a great price also! Some people are just difficult and she and her business partner sure sound like it, and they expect the comfort of a luxury hotel at rock bottom pricing.
Her review speaks for itself, her consclusion/demand of what you owe her in refunds is out of line, as you have clearly stated that the sleep station is a futon. I understand you want to say something, but let it sit overnight.... people who read her review will mark HER as difficult, not you! If you say something , make it "short and sweet", don't be defensive, hard as it might be... Good luck!

you cannot edit or delete reviews, they are permanent.
YOUR REVIEW WILL NOT BE MADE PUBLIC UNTIL EITHER THE OTHER PERSON LEAVES A REVIEW, OR 14 DAYS HAVE PASSED. WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. THOSE ARE THE RULES.
This question was specifically about posting a public response to a review, not the actual review itself. I understand the time lapse in the intial review process. Thank you tough for your response.
