How to become a co-host and where to find properties to manage!

Hello Everyone,

My name is Chris ** and I'm from the United States where I float back and forth between central Ohio and South Florida frequently. I have been traveling with airbnb for a while and have also enjoyed becoming a host thanks to the amazing culture. Last Quarter, I have actually met all qualifications to become a "superhost" and am looking forward to the advantages there once it's verified! Today I have two questions for you all and I thank you in advance for answering.

One, how do I become a co-host that is preferred in my local area? I have loved becoming a host and currently have my guest bedroom in Florida listed and an apartment in Ohio listed for rent that I am managing.

Two, how have you all been able to connet with other property owners? My goal would be to partner with 40+ hosts here in South Florida, i.e. Palm Beach County. This is a very nice area with a lot of second homes or places that sit empty often. I would love to take advantage of this opportunity as I see the extra cashflow being great for investments!

Thanks for the help everyone and have a great start to the New Year, where ever that might be!

Chris

Hello Chris,

I am wondering if you ever got an answer to your question. I am also back and forth - from Palm Beach County to the Netherlands. Originally from South Florida and moved abroad a couple years ago but I am chasing the sun in the winter so always go back to Florida. In the Netherlands I have a small business managing airBnB homes and I was able to do it by voulunteering for a B&B and then getting referals through them and facebook post from my company page to groups in the area. The high season here is summer so I don't have much work anymore and will fly to Florida in December. I am also wondering how to co-host some properties when I am there? There was some talk about AirBnB bringing out a co-host program where host coud search for you. I am currently a co-host for my neighbor on AirBnB but haven't seen any new news of when they will allow a profile to be searched and listing that need a co-host to be searched.

If you know anything more, I would love to hear it.

Kind regards,

Vanessa

Have a look on Airbnb Help Centre it shows you how co-hosting works.

If you don't qualify then just set up your own business and promote your services to hosts in the area you want to operate in.
