How to edit or delete the last saved message?

We try to edit the last saved message but there is no option of Edit or Delete available like others.

So I have created another one instead.

There is no option to delete either.

It comes up with an option of "Edit in listing details" which I don't need or don't want.

It happens that this saved message consists of house rules.

Anyway to go round it if it is a bug on the web site?

Hello @Valerie283,

The "House rules" and "Directions" saved messages are editable only by going to the listing details page.

These are mdae available, by Airbnb, to guests who have a confirmed reservation.

This ensures that there's always just one set of rules and one set of directions given to each guest.

Of course hosts can change the rules and directions but it can be done only in the listing details so that all future bookings are made under the same rules and with the same directions.

It also avoids the possibility of a host specifying a rule or directions change in a message to one guest and then forgetting to update the rules or directions section of the listing.

From Airbnb's point of view the only enforceable house rules are the ones specified in the listing details so they're the ones that the guest receives automatically from Airbnb.

What if we want to delete that particular saved message, House Rules?  How to go about it?  We have already created another one for the house rules because we want to include no pets, no children and no infants as part of the reminder.  The saved message doesn't include the settings provided by airbnb.

What about those never have such saved message before?  How can they ensure the hosts always write the same about the house rules to any guest?
