How to get to where I can update photos?

We're trying to update photos or change description of the photos.  However we go round and round and can't find it.

The editing part of the web site is definitely not user-friendly.

@Valerie283 a lot of things on the AirBnB site are not obvious if you have not done them before.

Hopefully this will help!

We've tried this before, the help is not correct.

There is no Manage Listing to click on.

When we simply clicked on the listing, i.e. the picture or the title, another page comes up on another tab.

So they changed the operation but the help has not been updated.

Adding photos

To add photos to an existing listing:

  1. Go to Your Listings on airbnb.com
  2. On the listing you want to edit, click Manage Listing
  3. Click your listing photo
  4. Click Add more and choose the photos you want to upload
  5. To update your cover photo, click and drag a photo to the cover photo section

@Valerie283 are you able to get to a page that looks like this? (This page should be the editing screen for your listing)

If so, you then click on the "Edit" button in the "Photos" section.

We had managed to get to the photos and updated what we wanted earlier on.  We just stumbled to it.  Now we want to go back but we couldn't.  We retraced the steps but didn't make any difference.  It is very inconsistent.  We could get to the page we can edit everything else not photo edit though.

we have to find it and bookmark it in order to be able to get it every time.

We tried to insert an image to show the page we found it different from how we did it with the last massage earlier on today and we don't know how to do so.

We posted the message and then re-edited it, then we found the same way to add in the image.  Here it is.  The web site is very inconsistent throughout.

It's actually quite simple, @Valerie283, but as @Matthew285 implies, only if you've done it before! The general editing feature isn't that bad either.

They need to update the help when the page is changed.

It probably doesn't matter too much if one is already familiar with the web site and the change is not too much at a time while one keeps using it.  When too many small changes add up and the help is never updated, problem results for the newcomers.
