i would like to know if there is a airbnb email address for help and a contact number.

There isn't an email address to which to submit support queries.

There are phone numbers and you can also contact support via Twitter as outlined in the post you can find as follows. I've used Twitter several times and found that they respond either straight away or in an hour or so depending on the nature of my request.

Type "contact airbnb" in the "Search the community" box on these forum pages where you posted your question. Scroll down a little in the list of suggestions that appears and click on the "Contact Airbnb: A Community Help Guide[UPDATED]" one. That lists phone numbers and ways to contact them via Twitter or Facebook.
