How to re-activate my listing

Hello airbnb community! I have a major problem and I've looked and googled everywhere for answers, but to no avail! I hope someone can help me with this:

After not having hosted for two months (and not receiving any requests either, cuz my calendar was blocked), I suddenly receive an email from airbnb saying that they deactivated my listing. There was no mention in the email that it was temporary, nor anything on how to re-activate my listing. I searched the airbnb FAQs, and it says that listnings are *temporarily* deactivated for a list of reasons that do not apply to me. It also says that in the email from airbnb it should say how to reactivate my listing, which is not the case for me, as I only got an email saying that they deactivated. I went into all my settings in the dashbord, and I cannot see any option for reactivating my listing. It seems like if I want to host again, I will have to create a new listing, which will take so much time and effort!! And I would lose all my reviews and have to start from zero again, which seems very unfair.

Has anyone experienced this and can help me find a way to reactivate my listing?

Advice and help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Hello @Noorita0 ,

If you want to stop hosting for a certain period, better use the "snooze listing" option instead of blocking the calender: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/476/how-do-i-snooze-or-deactivate-my-listing

if airbnb deactivated your listing, it can not be activated. So you have to create a new one. Better contact Airbnb first to ask for their reason of deactivation: Contact Airbnb - A Community Help Guide [UPDATED]

Hope this helps,

Emiel
