I'm new. Why does the calendar keep blocking days

I'm very new to hosting on Airbnb and cannot figure out why everytime I've looked at my calendar the last couple of days, many days are blocked even after I've made them available.

@Mick-And-Jo0  Have you looked in your inbox to see if you have any reservations that say awaiting payment, pending authorization, or awaiting verification. The bookings would be greyed out on your calendar as a guest is given 24 hours to make a payment on a regular booking or split payment and 72 hours on a group payment. The an additional 24 hours is given before AirBnB cancels the booking. You do not get a notification from AirBnB on these bookings since they have not been completed yet.  Also you may want to change your cancwellation policy to at least Moderate to stop last minute cancellations and changes in dates. Let the guest have a reason not to cancel at the last minute.

@Mick-And-Jo0   Did you click on Save after opening the dates? If you did everything right, you'll have to contact Airbnb to find out what the problem is.

When I look at your listing calendar, @Mick-And-Jo0, you look totally open until April 2019.  I am not sure what you are looking at, but it appears your listing is available totally through March 2019 and very little availability in April.
