Thank you. I did contact them by phone. I also emailed the person who was interested in my place who kindly understood and mutually agreed to it. I didn't know if they could verify it was a non-issue for them. It was 79 days in advance. I guess what I learned is just cancel it right away?! I emailed right away, but sisn't hear back from the tenant. Cancel first, then appologize second. Not the other way around. It won'rt happen again. I am constantly learning this system each rental season. Thank you for your advice.
