I need some help with understanding the collection and distribution of refundable security deposit.

I have added a security deposit to my listing but when a guest booked it did not show up on her receipt as a security deposit. How do guests know about the refundable security deposit, and how is it returned?

AirBnB does not have a refundable security depoit.

Airbnb's use of the term "security deposit" is very misleading. The help article below, found by typing "deposit" in the search box having clicked on "Help", explains what they mean by "deposit".

How does Airbnb handle security deposits?

I've just managed to find it in the listing preview and yes it is shown to guests
