Illegal short term rentals

I want a refund of my reservation due to the fact that my host illegally renting the apartment. AirBnB are not refunding the service fee because more than 48 hours of my booking,although the cancellation policy on the hosts page says 48 hours and at least 5 days before check in time, my main concern is that they are letting this illegal activity continue.

Option for total refund if cancellation policy is "moderate":

"48 hours of booking AND at least 5 days before check-in"

So it must meet both conditions.

You can report the host or listing to Airbnb by using the "flag" textlink on the profile or listing.

But you can contact Airbnb also about the issue with your reservation:
