Increase minimum stay

*** The problem I have is that during our Peek Season we would like to increase the minimum stay from our default=2 to say 6days. Is it possible to have different minimum stay settings for different periods?

@Kevin383  I have a similiar problem...  different minimums and different turnover days for different times of the year.  Some people on this thread suggested making 2 listings for your one property then using the linked calendar feature.  I have not tried this yet but wanted to pass along the info.  Seems like a bit of a pain and your reviews would only stay on one of the pages.  But it might be a temporary work-around until ABB figures this out. 

Thanks Anita, I found a way to solve the minimum stay problem.

1. Click on "your Listing"

2. Click on "Manage Listing" (in body right of picture)

3. Click on "Availability"

4. Click on "Trip Length" Edit button.

You will see your default "Minimum Stay" 

Click on "Add another requirement" 

Then you can select a dropdown called "During" that gives you an option to select period where you want a different minimum stay.

I tested it and it worked perfectly.

The regarding the daily rate, if you enter the calendar you can change a range of dates to a different rate.

I was one of the hosts to suggest it for a specific case, only two turnover days allowed. 

If you are fine with a guest booking six days and the next nine, you do not need that workaround. You can set specific parameters, accessible from the calendar, to apply to specific dates or maybe 3 months. 

Those parameters can be a minimum stay or a specific turnaround day (only one choice last I looked). 

If you set them, log in fom another browser a few hours later and check them. For a while, one change would trigger others not intended ones. That bug may be corrected since then, but better check it.

Lol, @Lizzie, with all the hosts complaining, that airbnb does not listen , you have me shaping the service? I did not claim that 😉 maybe 10.000 people suggested the same improvements? I have no idea how airbnb decides changes, but I like the linked calendars and  I see quite often changes, where I remember a discussion about it.
