Outside your remit. The guest doesn't pay you directly, they make the payment to airbnb.
They should receive a confirmation at booking which should suffice, and if they have questions or queries, they should phone airbnb themselves.
Hello, I need an invoice myself for a trip I had to cancel and need to claim the loss on insurance, do you know how to get an email or phone number for AirBnB? Many Thanks
You print your invoice from the system - go to "my trips".
It is not normal for a host to provide an invoice. When the guests booked your place they knew who was paying and who had the account with airbnb. Frankly, it is not your problem. The guest who booked will have an invoice from airbnb and if this was an issue, I wonder why the husband didn't open his own account.
From their booking they can print a receipt and there is a function to add details. If they need to add a name, they would need to contact airbnb with the request.
How do you contact Airbnb?
Thre invoice can only be provided to the persion who paid the money - otherwise it is fraudulent! I can;t believe his company wont accept an invoice where his wife paid the accommodation during a business trip. Sounds like someone with nothing better to do than make up artbritary rules. As for it being expensive - surely you knew the price before booking and could have gone for something cheaper if you wished.
As property manager in Andalusia, Spain, I have a lot of properties on Airbnb to rent out for vacation. Till now without any problem. A few months ago one of my clients decided not to rent out his apartment anymore and live there himself. For that reason I had to cancel two reservations, without any problem for the guests because I could place them at another even better place without supplement. The guests received their money from the original booking back from Airbnb, but I received a fine of 2 x 47€ which was taken from the payment from another booking, another property.
In spite of all my calls to the company they think this fine is justified, however Airbnb does NOT provide an invoice for the cancelation fee of 94€.
Is this correct? Don't think so and I'm seriously thinking of taking all my properties, 48 in total from their site.
I'm convinced that the loss of commision to them (last year around 6000€), will be a lot bigger then the fine they charged me, but somehow they don't seem to care.
Anyone ???
As far as I can see, airbnb has done nothing wrong. If you cancel a reservation, you will be fined and the amount will be deducted from your next payout.
You should have used the changing tool to move the guests from one property to another and nothing like this would have happened.
Do not all booking systems charge a penalty if you cancel?
Hello everyone! Can anyone give me a hint how to ask an invoice from Airbnb? I am asked to provide an VAT invoice on Service fees from my University, in order to get the reimbursment. Which is usually provided, but in this case I don't see it. Is there any e-mail to write to them?
