Is it worth it to stay open in off season?

We are contemplating staying open in the off season for January and February.

Is there any way to get information of some kind that indicates the occupancy rate in our area for those months?

Air BNB has never been good about providing stats that you are looking for.  I wonder if your tourism council would have any usable information.  I live in the desert so summer is pretty dead, but I remain "open" for tax deduction purposes.  Perhaps that is applicable for you as well.
