I’m a host of 2 years and have hosted more than 900 groups.

i have always had external CCTV monitoring my premises as I own a large property in Surrey/ London.

a guest entered my property 2.5 hours ahead of check in two weeks ago having opened two exterior gates then entering through a door leading into the family kitchen which has a notice on it stating no entry.

airbnb state it is a misunderstanding.

The police states it was an illegal entry which I concur with.

the Airbnb health and safety dept have suspended my account as they state my advert doesn’t mention CCTV. 

Actually it does multiple times.

I’ve spent 2 days being passed from one case manager to another. 

Airbnb appear unable to resolve the matter within their departments.

is the company too big?

why is it so difficult for hosts. 

I have had few few difficulties but every one I have had has been virtually impossible to resolve via the convuluted system.

any suggestions?
