Hi... I send the link to my guests to show them how to check in (which includes the keypad code)... i change this code with each new guest... my question is.... when I press on the link in past guests messages.... it takes me to current guest code.
Are past guests able to click on the link and see the new code? A little worried....
If it is an external link, and you use allways same URL, then in contains always newest code.
And yes, former guests have the link available, maybe they bookmarked it or sent it to somebody else !
It is is rather easy to make it some more secure, but it depends on your technical skills (for example by adding the reservationnr to the link to make it unique, or by using a script asking for reservationcode first).
Best regards,
Emiel
Thank you! I think I will send the link without the code in my link... then private message the guest each time... just to be safe haha
