Laws or leases prohibiting Airbnb / hosting

Hi. Does anyone know the laws in Dallas County- Irving, Texas? For someone in a lease within an apt complex? I couldn't find anything on the city or county website in reference to this.

To run your Airbnb in a leased apartment of house really depends on whether or not your lessor approves. Read through your lease thoroughly and your insurance policy to see if there are any restrictions on you subletting it or if there are any guest restrictions. If you live in a,subdivision, check the CCRS in your subdivision to see if there are restricts there also. The CCR for a subdivision can be found on the internet under the HOA.
