As a super host ( who isn’t?) I decided not to cancel a booking for fear of losing my status plus$100 plus other benefits..... Then when looking to travel in Italy I noticed a Super Host who had canceled a guest with just 3 day notice. Yet they still held Super host status? How can that be ?
Hi @DavidandNushada0 I hope you are well!
It depends when the cancellation happened- if it was over 1 year ago, then the host would be eligable to obtain SH status again after 12 months have lapsed and they haven't cancelled since.
If it's a more recent cancellation, they wouldn't lose SH status as soon as they made the cancellation, but rather at the next SH assessment date- for this period it's 1st April.
Best wishes
Paul.
Sounds right. Thanks Paul.
