Midland TX city rules

Hi, do you have any information regarding the local city laws here in Midland?

I just talked to planning and zoning just last week about this.  They have no extra permit requirements as long as you are not trying to convert something that was not previously used as a living space (like a shed or garage).  There are some fire codes that you have to adhere to... basically a smoke/carbon monoxide detector in halls and a smoke detector in each bedroom.  You can print the regs from the city of midland website.  hope this helps!
