Hi All,
Does anyone know if there is a function which allows you to set a minimum number of nights stay, but only for a particular period?
For example. If I am going away between 5-15th and want to avoid a changeoever day whilst I'm away, then for this particular set of dates I will only allow a minimum 10days stay. I know that I can make the dates unavailable but it's not quite the same!
Many thanks in advance.
Hi - go to Availability Settings - there you can choose pre-set seasons, or create bespoke date ranges and stipulate the minimum number of nights
Thank you both,
I have a suspicion though that this function will still allow guests to book and 'check in' on of any of the range of dates so long as they opt to stay for the minimum amount of nights set by me. .
For example: If I'm away from 10-15 and set 5 stay minimum stay between 5-10, doesn't that still allow guests to still book on the 5,6,7,8,9,10 (assuming they stay for 5 days!)
Basically I would like to block check in dates but not check out dates.
Hope I've not bored you or confused the matter.
But...if you block out the days you are away then no-one could book 9th for 5 days (for example). Or have I misunderstood?
Date available but not as an arrival date - it's something that exists in some booking systems, but not Airbnb currently. Would be a handy feature to cover dates when you're not available to greet new arrivals.
On the other part of the subject, it used to be really obvious how to set exceptions to minimum stay length - it was part of the settings box to the right of the calendar. In the updated layout it's still available, but not so obvious: go to 'Availability', the hit the 'Edit' button by the 'Trip length' header, click the 'Add a requirement for seasons or weekends' link, and then, for custom settings, select 'Specific dates' from the drop-down menu titled 'During'.
